I had met this guy on Tinder. We had already gone on a few dates. I want to say we're probably like two months in at this point, which that's, that's a long time in the dating world.

Dang it. So he had, it was a summer. I don't know. I don't know if, all I know is there was a three day weekend. I don't know if it's because of a holiday or because he just happened to have three days off, but this starts on a Friday and then there was a three day weekend.

So he started off his Friday outside hiking.

I don't know exactly where he was hiking, but he said he had been outside for a while. And so he comes over to my house and at that point it's like Friday evening and I'm like, all right, let's smoke, drink. Whatever. He was not a smoker. He was not a green smoker. Remember that? We go outside, we're sitting on my patio. The very first thing we do is take a shotgun. 'cause this is when I first started shotgunning. Um,

And he was like, yeah, let's shotgun too. And he did it just as fast as I did. So I was like, Oh, I guess like, he knows what he's doing too. Okay. So we did a shotgun. We might've done two shotguns. Cause we did them with like, uh, I think I was drinking like some kind of Celsius at that point. So they're not like crazy strong. Are they more than beers? It's probably the same. Anyway.

And he was like, absolutely. I was like, okay, cool. So we're sitting out there. We're talking He was telling me about how he went hiking and then he told me he went hiking without water.

And then he smoked on top of it and I, maybe 10 minutes in, he like curled up in my egg chair. He like curled up in a ball and he was like, I don't feel good. And I was like, Oh my God, here we go. So I was like, have what we established even drank anything today, the water, have you ate? And he said, no. Oh,

and he was vegan. So he didn't want to eat anything in my house. I was like, I have a bunny. I have spinach. I have carrots. I have broccoli. You want to like a stock of broccoli? Like you need to get some kind of food in you. Cause he was dehydrating at that point.

Okay, so let's recap this. He went hiking with no water, didn't eat, drank on an empty stomach.

Shotgunned on an empty stomach. Took a hit on your bowl on an empty stomach, and then he's vegan, so he's like, I'm not even going to eat what you have in this house, even though you have vegetables, even though you have vegan food.

that's fine. Go ahead. Go to sleep. I was like, do you want to come in? Cause it's hot. He's like, no, I'm actually really, really comfortable here. So I was like, okay, that's fine. I always, I had a fan running. Out there when it gets super hot. So it wasn't too bad. It was fairly comfortable. So at that point I knew my child would be home later that day. So I was like, let me just get things done around the house. And then my child comes home and he's still out there sleeping on the chair. So I was like, okay, cool. Cause at this point, I wanted him to be gone. I didn't want him around my kids. It was going to be gone, but it's okay. My little man can just sleep it off there. Just do whatever we're doing. And then all of a sudden I hear him come stumbling down. I'm like, oh my gosh. He wanted to go in to the bathroom to throw up. And I'm like, oh my god, I did not clean my toilets for a stranger to come throw up. So I was like, oh my god, can I at least like clean up the toilet real quick before you throw up? And he's like, no, it's fine. So I was like, Okay, so he goes in there and shuts and locks the door. I mean, I could just pop it. I'm a mom. I know how to pop it open. I'm like, okay, so he locked the door.

I guess he wouldn't, he wanted no help at all. But meanwhile, I mean, I would have done anything at that point for him. He's little. I could have just scooped him up. I could have run him a little bath, whatever he needed. So he threw up and then he passed out on my floor. He stopped answering me. So I was like, yeah. So I was like, well, I need to get in at this point. So I was like knocking on the door. I was like, if you don't let me in, I'm just going to pop it. Like, I know how to pop the thing. And he was like, no, I'm okay. I'm sleeping on the floor because it's cold and it feels really good. So I was like, do you want a blanket? Do you want a towel? Do you, you want to wipe up? Do you want anything? And he was like, no, I'm fine. I'm like, okay. So, I honestly think at that point it's only seven because the sun was still kind of up. So I'm just gonna let him sleep. Thank God I have another bathroom so we just use the other bathroom. And it just goes on and on and he's still asleep and I'm knocking on the door and I'm like just trying to get him to answer me and he won't answer me. So I'm like I'm gonna have to get in. So I pop it to get in. He's right there. Like, like I could see him a little bit like curled up on the floor. But he is Up against the door. So I'm like, are you still at least alive? Like, can you grunt? Can you something? So he got a grunt out. That's all I got at this point. So I was like, okay, well, he's alive. We're just waiting. We're going to do whatever I need to do in the meantime.

At this point, we're ready to go to sleep. It's like nine o'clock, but I was starting to get a little nervous. I started thinking about, he's been outside all day. He didn't eat. He didn't drink. Like he doesn't smoke. You can die from this stuff. So I was like, I need my child to stay with me at all times. So I have a character witness that I didn't do anything wrong.

I. Was like just stay on your phone because this is the first time that I thought that he was dying So I'm like just stay on your phone. I'm like shopping for Vacation cuz I was getting ready to go on vacation. Just stay on your phone, you know, so God forbid something's happened He was a dying my floor sir officer. I've been on my phone the whole entire time I promise you and my child can vouch for that he Slept on that floor till four o'clock in the morning, which means I stayed up till four o'clock in the morning Just like every so often I was like don't lock the door again I just need to come in and I would like just put my hand in on top of him and just make sure that he Was breathing. So I was like, okay, that's all I could do. That's all the help he wants at this point I just need to make sure he's alive. He wakes up. He opens that door and he he was um, he was Italian, but you know, there's like people that are like Italian, but then there's like people that are Italian. He looked like an Italian man. It's like he had darkness to him and it was the summertime. He was white and he's like, I'm okay ish. Um, but I'm going to go home. I was like, absolutely. Just let me know when you get home. So he leaves. And he, he gets home. I know that he at least got home. I think he still didn't even text me. But I was just like, I need to know you're home. I'm going to keep calling you until you tell me you're home. He picked up on like the second call and he's like, I'm like, cool, great. Talk to you in the morning. So that leaves us in

Right, exactly. So I'm like, okay, well, I'm good. He didn't die. We're good. We're good. This is when green wasn't legal. So I was like, oh my gosh. I'm going to go to jail for killing him with the illegal weed. And then, oh my gosh, at that point, I too, I didn't, I had stuff that I had bought and then I had stuff that my friend had bought, gotten me with her medical. So I was like, Oh my God, who am I taking down with me? The drug dealer or my best friend? So we're now to Saturday, Saturday morning. I didn't really hear anything from him, like whatever. I get up, go to the,

that's not what I think, cause that all went on until like four o'clock, 4am. So this is afternoon. I go to the pool with my friend and finally get settled in about to sit down in the chair and then we're about to go get in the pool and I get a text from him and he's like, I'm going to go to the hospital. And I was like, uh, why?

He's like, I still don't feel good. And I was like, okay, you know, just be honest with them. Tell them you drank, tell them you smoked. Tell them you didn't eat or drink anything like just going down all the list of all the things he did wrong. I was like, just be honest with them. I was like, make sure you tell them that you do smoke green, smoke green. You're not gonna go to jail. Just be honest with them because so that they know what's going on.

and let me know. Let me know what is going on. Saturdays goes by, I don't hear anything from him. Saturday night, I text him like, hey, how you doing? Nothing. was like, okay, cool. Whatever. Maybe he, Went to the hospital, dealt with that, which is an experience, and then went home.

So, it gets later on a Saturday night, and I'm like, you know what, I'm just gonna call him at this point. I call him, his phone's dead.

Uh, yes. Yeah, yeah. Which, I guess maybe, thinking back on it, like, maybe he blocked me, but that's not what in my head. My first thought was, his phone is dead, and so is he. And I, for real, killed him and I need to, I did a little notes app where my kids are going to go, where my animals are going to go.

I was so scared. I was like, I should call my mom and tell her what's going on, but I know that she would only make it worse.

So I was like, let me just. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm just really scared. I was so scared that like I really did kill him and this was going to get national news and my ex was going to see me on the TV and be like, I knew it. I knew it. She threatened to kill me too. No, I never did. But she would have killed me too. And he would have just played into this. And I'd be in jail for my little pocket boyfriend who smoked a bowl and couldn't handle it.

So Sunday rolls around. I don't sleep that night because again, I immediately went right to, he's dead because he said he Sunday morning, I call him again. His phone's still dead. At this point, I'm in full panic mode. I'm calling probably every five minutes at that point. Like, just going and again, I guess I could have been blocked, but I didn't think that.

That's when I start thinking rationally like, okay, maybe he was in the hospital a little bit longer. They didn't bring a charger because he didn't remember to eat. He's not bringing a charger.

I think I had to work or maybe I didn't have to work for whatever reason. I had to stress through my, no, I didn't have to work. I was off. So maybe this must have been some kind of holiday weekend. So call him all through Monday. Still dead. Call him through the day on Monday. Every time I called, the phone was still dead. And I was like, okay, I'm going to calm down. This is what we're going to do. We're okay. Tuesday, he has to work. So just don't stress out until Tuesday. Call him on Tuesday around like 9am, you know, when he's getting into work.

I'm going to wait till nine AM. I'm driving to work and I'm like about to throw up. I pulled over on the side, right? Like I can't do this anymore. Like, I just need to pull over. and call him. And it's summer, so like my kid's already asleep so at that point, I was probably always running late for work. It was probably like 8. 05 in the morning. So I pull over, pull into the little parking lot and I'm like, if his phone's dead, it's okay. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please ring. If his phone is still dead though, I'm turning around. I'm going home. Now I need to call my mom because now we're in panic mode.

My story kind of involves a haunting of sorts. I met a guy on Tinder and we were talking, I know everything, like, especially in this dating culture, everything's going to start with like Tinder. We were talking for a little bit. We had a lot in common, so we were like really excited about each other, but it just never happened where we could actually hang out. We just talked every single day.

We caught up on like regular phone, like out of Snapchat, caught up Florida's going well, whatever. He's like, you should come out here. And I'm like, you paying for it.

A weekend wasn't not enough. So I was like, all right, I'm going to plan.

Our schedules didn't really mesh, so the next time I was able to actually go out there for a week was in July. Okay. So, Six to eight weeks later. Well, first of all, July trying to travel to Florida, the storms. My flight was delayed eight hours. I was supposed to be on the flight at noon. I didn't get on a flight until eight o'clock that night. Yes. Yes. And I was, I was so upset about it. And he's like, it's all right, babe.

First night's great. It's 3 o'clock in the morning. I wake up. For some reason, I always wake up at 3 a. m. 3 a. m. Always.

I was like, all right, finally, we're going to do something together. Finally, whatever.

He comes back, so every time he comes through the doors, I can hear the doors. Right? Right. So he comes back, and he's like, yeah, this theater is haunted. And I'm like, bro, I love haunted shit, but don't tell me that, okay? Like, I don't want my real life haunted. I wanna watch it, I don't want real life hauntings. So, I was like, yeah, mm mm, mm mm. And he's like, I'll be right back. And I'm like, what? After you just told me that this theater is haunted, you're just gonna leave me here? So he gets up, I don't know.
